Destination engagement photography shoot
A destination wedding may not be the answer for every wedding couple. Although the idea of getting married on a faraway tropical island appeals too most, thinking about the logistics of travel and cost can soon have couples looking for stay at home alternatives.
Having recently returned from a trip to Venice it got me thinking about destination engagement shoots. Weddings are very much a family and friends event. Those family and friends equate to wedding guests of all ages. On the other hand, engagements are often a romantic time reserved just for two.
There are of course lots of romantic cities in Europe but Venice is an enchanting city with its very own unique romantic atmosphere. An ideal destination for couples in love! One of the most beautiful cities in the world, a city built on water with over 400 bridges crossing the many canals. Imagine the two of you on a gondola, floating down one of the many beautiful waterways, enjoying typical Italian dishes in one of the many fine restaurants and then perhaps a moonlight walk through the main square “Piazza San Marco” to end a wonderfully romantic day.
It is currently very easy to fly into some of the most beautiful cities in Europe and with some great deals around it can be fairly inexpensive. You could of course rely on the good old selfie stick or local tourists to hold your expensive camera and take pictures for you. Not ideal but you will have some photos to share. Far better would be to hire the services of a professional photographer who will spend the day with you creating dream photographs as the day unfolds.
