Portrait photography in the studio

Light is the secret ingredient if you are looking to create stunning photographs. There are many factors that are beyond control when shooting outside but once in the studio you can change everything, the angle, the intensity and the softness.

I don`t get to shoot in the studio very often but it is a great place to play with light. Most of the time when I am photographing weddings or events I will opt to use natural light as often as possible but there are those occasions when an understanding of how to get them best from flash photography will pay dividends.
