Melissa and Ged`s wedding at the Orchard Suite

Melissa and Ged eloped to the Island of Aruba for their wedding leaving all their friends and family at home. No I didn`t get to fly with them to photograph their big day, although I was more than willing. Their wedding day was captured by a local photographer on the Island. I did however get to photograph the reception were Melissa and Ged arrived in their full splendour to the waiting guests.

A perfect summers evening allowed guests to enjoy the lovely outside patio area at the Orchard Suite, sitting talking and catching up with friends and family. An ideal opportunity for me to wander and take some candid photographs as people relaxed in the lovely settings.

The reception had all the right trimmings, a touching speech from Ged, the cutting of the cake and the 1st dance, all great photo opportunities. Someone had bought along some simple photo booth accessories so I set up a photo booth in the lounge area and invited guest to pick a prop and pose.

There are some great areas within the grounds of the Orchard Suite to take some lovely bride and groom pictures, so as the sunset I whisked Melissa and Ged off for a few informal portraits, a welcome break for the couple who sat and talked as I set my lights and shot a few lovely pictures to add to their wedding album.
